I usually focus on bass fishing, but fall is that season when all kinds of saltwater species start tempting me.
And with saltwater fishing, you inevitably end up carrying more gear because there are just so many species to target.
That’s why I want to keep all that multi-species tackle as compact and systematic as possible.
And this is exactly where the Bigbait Shoulder EX steps in.
Even though “Bigbait” is in the product name, this bag actually works incredibly well for a wide range of saltwater fishing styles. Today, I’ll show you how I pack it for saltwater sessions—with photos to walk you through the setup.
In the main compartment, I just toss in tackle boxes sorted by style—like egi, light-game gear, and seabass lures.

As most bags get more use, they start losing their shape and become harder to open and access. But the Bigbait Shoulder EX keeps its original form thanks to the reinforced panels built into the sides and bottom. That means you can always pull gear out quickly without worrying about the bag collapsing on itself.
The main compartment zipper is made by YKK, a well-known Japanese manufacturer, so it opens and closes smoothly every time.
